I finally had to go over to the Dark Side, and give Google my cell phone number to get my access to this blog back. Guess I'll need to change my cell phone number now!
But at least I'm back in. More to follow!

Let the Chaos begin!
2012 is already shaping up to be a Chaotic year for me. I just finished an assignment for the State of Utah, so at least I'm home for a while, which is a good thing.
I turned in the manuscript for my second book, Circle of Fire, and signed the contract with the publisher. It should be in print in about 3 months. My third book, Through the Darkness, is about half done, and will come out in early 2013.
I've decided that I'm going to write a fact/picture book about skyparks in the west. The primary reason for this is that I'd like to buy such a book, but apparently, it doesn't exist. So, I'll have to create it! It's as good an excuse as any to fly around to a bunch of cool places. Makes the trips tax deductible, too.
Still, none of this is going to pay the mortgage, so I have to get a "real" job in the not too distant future.
I'm supporting Romney again this year, as I did in 2008. I think Newt would make a fine president as well, but that's just not an option on the menu. He can be nominated, but not elected.
I was planning to go flying today, but the weather is crummier than forecast, so perhaps not.
Happy New Year to you all!
Ride the waves!
:-)

Bigfoot Day!
Mark your calendars now!
The first annual “Bigfoot Day” will be April 28th, 2012. (Earth day is April 22nd)
The rules for participation are simple: On Bigfoot Day, do everything you can to maximize your carbon footprint. Run every internal combustion engine you have (I have 8), all day. Turn on every light in the house, and leave them on. If you have both heating and air-conditioning, run ‘em both.
There will be a prize awarded to the individual or group producing the highest carbon footprint for the day.
Pass it on!

Warmism Defined
Warmism is the religion whose adherents (known as Warmists) believe:
1) The Earth is getting hotter, AND
2) Humans are the primary cause of this heating, AND
3) It’s worth spending billions and billions of dollars to try to do something about it
